The Poland Nike EURO 2012 away jersey has been launched and is now available at World Soccer Shop and Subside Sports. The new kit will be the BiaÅ‚o-czerwoni’s (white and reds’) kit for matches in which they are deemed to be the away team during the 2012/13 international season.
Currently ranked 70th in the world by FIFA, Poland will co-host EURO 2012 along with Ukraine. The Poles are pooled with Greece, Russia and the Czech Republic in Group A of the competition. This year’s appearance will be only their second in the European championships and follows a group stage exit at EURO 2008.
The Poland EURO 2012 home kit was first launched in November. However, a well-publicized public outcry at the exclusion of Polish White Eagle (or Orzeł Biały) from the Poland shirt led to it being relaunched in December.
