Pampas XV Nike 2012 Kits

After several years with adidas as its technical sponsor, the Argentine Rugby Union (Spanish: Unión Argentina de Rugby / UAR) has switched to Nike. The deal will see all of UAR’s teams (Los Pumas, Pampas XV, Jaguares, Pumas 7 and Pumitas) wear training and match gear from the American sportswear giant with immediate effect.

The first Argentine side to wear Nike kits will be the Pampas XV. The club is an Argentine rugby union team based in the rugby hotbed of South Africa that plays in the Vodacom Cup. The team was established in 2010 and is composed almost entirely by members of the High Performance Plan of the UAR. The Pampas XV are the reigning Vodacom Cup champions.

Here is a look at the Pampas XV Nike 2012 home (purple) and away (red) kits. The new home kit is expected to be worn when the team meets the Eastern Province Kings in the first match of the 2012 Vodacom Cup.
