Arsenal legend Thierry Henry marked his return to the Gunners with the game-winning goal in the club’s third round FA Cup meeting with Leeds United on Monday.

On a two-month loan from the New York Red Bulls, Henry scored with a trademark well-placed low shot in the 78th minute after collecting Alexandre Song’s pass. He had entered the match in the 68th as a replacement Moroccan international Marouane Chamakh.

The 34-year old former France and FC Barcelona striker scored 226 goals in 370 appearances between 1999 and 2007 before moving to the Nou Camp. Henry has played with the New York Red Bulls since 2010.
