Sheffield United Macron 2011/12 Home Kit

Published on

A longtime power in the English Football League Championship and an English Premier League club as recently as 2007, Sheffield United will compete in League One for the 2011/12 season. The upcoming campaign will mark The Blades’ first appearance in the third tier of English soccer since 1989.

As the club looks to bounce back to the Championship on its first try, the Sheffield United Macron 2011/12 home kit has been launched. Its design was selected by the club’s fans via a poll and based on Sheffield United’s 1970/71 promotion kit (to what was then Division 1), worn by the likes of the clubs current Assistant Manager Frank Barlow and Chief Scout Bill Dearden.

Here is a look at the new Sheffield United kit as modeled by new signing, Haitian international Jean-François Lescinel.
