The Football Federation of Armenia and Macron have released the Armenian national team 2026/27 jersey collection, made up of new home and away shirts for the national team. The kits are intended for the team’s 2026/27 international friendlies, UEFA Nations League and EURO 2028 qualifiers campaign. They are set to debut during the upcoming international window, when Armenia meets Cyprus, Latvia and Montenegro in the UEFA Nations League.
The Armenia 2026/27 Macron kit collection joins the country’s cultural heritage with the contemporary identity of the national team by reinterpreting ornamental elements of Armenian manuscript art. Forms and motifs that scribes and artists developed centuries ago are turned into a new visual expression of Armenian culture. Birds, botanical elements, geometric structures and other decorative figures recur throughout that tradition, where they framed texts, embellished initial letters and built elaborate compositions.
The Armenia 2026/27 Macron home jersey uses a burgundy base with an all-over embossed motif of stylized bird forms, taken from the ornamental tradition of the manuscripts. Cream-coloured details appear on the crew-neck trim, the sleeve cuffs and the graphic elements on the sides, and the Football Federation of Armenia crest on the chest follows the same palette as the rest of the kit. Burgundy shorts and socks with cream details complete the home kit.
Armenia’s 26/27 away shirt draws its concept from the elaborate ornamental motifs found in the margins and decorative sections of Armenian manuscripts. On an off-white base, a vertical band runs across the front and extends along the left side, reinterpreting the geometries and colors typical of this art form through a contemporary lens. The motif combines shades of burgundy, red, blue and orange, which stand out against the light base. Burgundy details appear on the collar, the sleeve cuffs and the chest crest. Off-white shorts and socks with burgundy and cream details accompany the shirt.
Both shirts carry details tied to the national team’s identity. The inner backneck label has a half-burgundy, half-cream base and shows the Football Federation of Armenia crest alongside the wording Designed in Bologna, which indicates that each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
