Mexico World Cup 2010 Team Gets Its Own Stamps

Mexico soccer fans worldwide are the midst of FIFA World Cup 2010 fever as their beloved El Tri prepares for a run in South Africa.

To celebrate the Mexican national team, the Mexico postal authorities have launched a series of official stamps featuring members of El Tri in action. Of interest is that the players are wearing Mexico’s new black adidas World Cup 2010 away kit in the stamps as opposed to the green home shirt that El Tri has made famous through the years.

Mexico is pooled with hosts South Africa, 2006 finalists France and two-time champions Uruguay in Group A of FIFA World Cup 2010.
