Wales have unveiled their 2026/27 adidas away jersey, a cream-based design that draws from the imagery of the Welsh dragon and the country’s national identity.

Released under the adidas Originals banner — marked by the Trefoil logo on the left chest — the shirt moves away from the traditional red of the home kit in favor of a warm off-white palette that serves as the canvas for its most distinctive feature: an abstract, tonal interpretation of the Welsh dragon rendered in muted red tones across the front of the jersey.

The Wales 2026/27 adidas away shirt’s retro aesthetic is reinforced by a classic polo collar tipped in green, with adidas Three Stripes running along the shoulders in green and red — a direct reference to the colors of the Welsh flag.

The Welsh FA crest sits on the right chest opposite the Trefoil, and ribbed sleeve cuffs complete the heritage-leaning silhouette. On the reverse, the word “CYMRU” appears above the team motto, “Gorau Chwarae Cyd Chwarae” — meaning “The Best Play is Playing Together” — printed in green below the collar.

The full Welse 2026/27 adidas away kit includes green shorts featuring the adidas Originals Trefoil and cream socks with green and red stripe detailing, with “CYMRU” printed in green on each leg — a coherent set that underscores the identity-forward direction of the release.

Fans got their first look at the jersey on the pitch when Wales wore it in a friendly against Romania — a first outing for what will become a key garment across Cymru’s 2026/27 international programme. The away shirt will accompany the team through their UEFA Nations League commitments and pre-EURO 2028 fixtures providing a visual thread through a cycle that culminates with a European Championship on British and Irish soil.
