The Japan FIFA World Cup 2026 adidas home jersey’s dominant blue tone represents a continuation of Japan’s iconic national color scheme, while introducing an abstract pattern inspired by the natural beauty of the Japanese horizon.

The design, titled “HORIZON,” features ash-blue linear details across the chest that depict the serene point where the sky and sea converge around the islands of Japan. This thematic approach captures the calm yet resolute spirit of the Japanese team.

adidas has placed the Japanese flag, the Hinomaru, prominently on the back of the collar. Its position symbolizes unity and pride, reinforcing the idea of the national team carrying Japan’s identity into every match. The red circle of the flag contrasts with the cool blue base, subtly emphasizing the players’ connection to the homeland.
