FC Barcelona 2023/24 Nike Away Kit

FC Barcelona debuted its 2023/24 Nike away kit during Tuesday night’s pre-season loss to Arsenal in Los Angeles, CA. The new Barca alternate jersey pays tribute to club and world football legend Johan Cruyff.

The FC Barcelona 23/24 Nike away shirt is predominantly white with red and blue stripes on the sleeve cuffs, and is based on the second kit worn by the club in the 1970s. It also features the iconic crest used by the club in 1978. The kit is completed with blue shorts and red and blue striped socks.

The kit is part of the club’s “Here to lead the way” campaign, which launched with the home kit for the 2023/24 season. The campaign is a reminder of one of the foundations that make Barça such a unique institution around the world, which is to lead the way in everything they do. As such, just like past Barça players, young Barça sportspeople will continue to lead and show the way for the club in the coming years.

The new jersey isn’t the first white kit worn by Barça . Players like Alcántara, Samitier, César and Kubala, among others, wore a white shirt between the 1920s and 1970s. Cruyff, who developed a new brand of playing style for FC Barcelona, wore white on several occasions, including the March 1st, 1978 UEFA Cup match against Aston Villa.

The FC Barcelona 2023/24 Nike away kit joins the Spanish LaLiga champion’s new home strip in its latest match range.
