Arsenal and adidas have unveiled the Gunners’ new away kit for the 2023/24 season, inspired by the club’s Islington roots. The 23/24 jersey features a bold design with fluid black lines, representing the journeys supporters make out of the club’s home borough for away days on the road.
The base color of the shirt is shock yellow, and it is complemented by light blue accents on the collars and sleeves.
The accompanying video for the Arsenal 2023/24 adidas away kit showcases the creativity, style, and cultural influence of the Arsenal family. The video features a variety of artists, musicians, and actors, including AntsLive, Scratcha, Theo Ellis, Mabel, Sherelle, Islington Youth Choir, Ashley Walters, Asa Butterfield, and Martin Kemp.
Arsenal player Gabriel Martinelli said of the new kit, “I love it! It’s a fresh look and it really brings to life the style of Arsenal. Our supporters are incredible and it’s great that adidas and the club have created this design to celebrate them and our roots in north London. I can’t wait to get back on the pitch in our new away shirt.”
The on-field version of the new Arsenal jersey is made with HEAT.RDY technology, which is designed to keep players feeling comfortable while performing on the biggest stage. The replica version of the kit features AEROREADY technology, which uses sweat-wicking absorbent materials to keep players feeling dry.
The kit is made with 100% recycled materials, representing adidas’ commitment to helping end plastic waste.
The 2023/24 away kit was worn for the first time when Arsenal played against the MLS All-Stars in Washington D.C. on July 19.
