Mainz 05 2022 Kappa Carnival Kit

1. FSV Mainz 05 kicked off 2022 with the reveal of its now annual Carnival kit. The colorful jersey is furnished by the German Bundesliga club’s technical partner Kappa.

The Mainz 05 2022 Carnival (‘Fastnachts’ in German) jersey features the club’s M-pattern in the traditional city of Mainz Carnival colors red, white, blue and yellow.

A black Kappa logo is placed on the right breast, the logo of main and kit sponsor Kömmerling in the middle chest, and the Mainz 05 crest on the left breast. Colorful Kappa Omini logos appear on the shoulders. The Mainz coast of arms is printed on the nape.

The musical notes of the Narrhalla March are printed on the lower back of the new shirt. The song has been part of Mainz’ Carnival since 1840. Mainz 05 also plays it after every home goal that the team scores.
