FC Bayern and adidas have unveiled the club’s new 2026/27 Champions League kit. The new FCBM shirt trades the team’s familiar red for a moodier navy-purple palette. Rather than mark a single moment, the new jersey weaves together four defining chapters from Bayern’s history into one all-over graphic, using hidden design elements and bright red accents to bring the club’s past onto the shirt itself. It’s a shirt with a story built into the fabric, rather than added on top of it.

Look closely and four tributes emerge from the pattern: Franz Beckenbauer at the peak of his powers during Bayern’s era of European dominance, and Arjen Robben’s winning goal in the 2013 Champions League final at Wembley.
Oliver Kahn’s crucial penalty save from the 2001 final in Milan also features, alongside Patrik Andersson’s legendary free-kick that clinched the Bundesliga title that same year. Together, the four moments span decades of Bayern’s biggest triumphs, folded into a design meant to be worn on the same stage some of them were won.
Visually, the FC Bayern 2026/27 adidas Champions League kit favors a weathered, almost hand-marbled look over a clean, flat print. The navy-purple base is streaked with patches of bright magenta and deep pink across the chest, sleeves, and shorts, giving the shirt a distressed texture rather than a simple graphic.
Red-orange trim lines the crew neckline and sleeve cuffs, and the adidas three stripes sit on the shoulders in a matching red-orange tone that stands out against the darker base. The club crest sits on the chest in the same understated style as previous seasons, while the shorts carry the same marbled pattern with red-orange side striping. The socks keep things simpler by comparison: solid navy with contrasting accents at the top, keeping the boldest design work on the shirt itself.
The shirt is built for FC Bayern’s full 2026/27 campaign across the German Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and UEFA Champions League. Head coach Vincent Kompany’s side will wear it for the first time in the Supercup against Borussia Dortmund on 22 August.
