adidas Football has released a special edition Germany 2026 kit that will be the last in their long-running sponsorship deal with the Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB). It was worn for the first time during the team’s UEFA Nations League draw against the Netherlands last week.
The Germany 2026 adidas special edition jersey design uses a black base marked by vertical golden lines, each formed from a repeating pattern of small diamonds that run the length of the jersey front and back.
The V-neck collar carries white, black and gold trim, and the same three-tone detailing appears on the adidas three stripes across the shoulders and sleeve cuffs. The adidas Trefoil logo sits on the left chest, with the DFB crest on the right, positioned beneath four stars representing Germany’s World Cup titles.
The back of the jersey features the word “Deutschland” at the neckline, with player numbering rendered in white and outlined in gold. The kit is completed by black shorts carrying the same white three stripes down each leg alongside the DFB crest and four stars, and black socks trimmed in white and gold, marked with “DFB” text and the adidas Trefoil.
The release also closes out a long-running partnership. adidas and the DFB have worked together since 1954. The special edition kit will be the final adidas-made shirt for the German national team before the federation switches to Nike as its technical partner in 2027.
