Kappa and Aston Villa have officially presented the new Kombat Pro home shirt that the club will be wearing during the 2021/2022 season.
The jersey was unveiled through a launch video and photography featuring Aston Villa players Jack Grealish, Tyrone Mings, John McGinn, Ollie Watkins, Jodie Hutton, Marissa Ewers, Sarah Mayling and Remi Allen. They were joined by local Villa fans and DJ and lifelong supporter Nathan Dawe.
The Aston Villa 2021/22 Kappa home jersey is built around the traditional claret and blue colors of the club with a sublimated design on the front taking its inspiration from the past success of the team through contrasted pinstripes within bigger vertical stripes.
The kit features a double round neck and a contrasted collar. The sleeves and bottom part of the shirt features a color contrasted insert which brings dynamism to the overall look. The Kappa KOMBAT PRO 2022 player and the replica versions of the kit will again feature a 3D silicone Villa crest. Aston Villa’s iconic lion is placed on the nape of the jersey.
Predominantly white shorts and sky blue socks complete the Aston Villa 2021/22 Kappa home uniform.
