River Plate 2020 adidas Third Jersey

Newly crowned Copa Argentina champions Club Atlético River Plate have released their 2020 adidas third kit.

The South American giants’ new change shirt uses classic River Plate white as its base. The red and black of the club’s crest are used at the crewneck collar and sleeve cuffs. Three black adidas stripes run on the shoulders.

A series stripes run along the front of the shirt. They have been given a panted on effect and are offset in areas. 

River Plate’s 2018 Copa Libertadores title is celebrated on the kit via a graphic on the front lower left. It has River Plate’s iconic red sash running across an image of Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The ground was the venue of the second leg of the Copa Libertadores final series against arch-rivals Boca Juniors.

“MADRID 9-12-2018 FINAL” is printed within at the center of the graphic.

River Plate’s nickname of ‘El Más Grande’ (The Greatest) is printed in black on the signoff area of the shirt.
