Copa Libertadores finalists and reigning Superliga Argentina champions Club Atlético Boca Juniors have dropped a bright yellow 2019 third kit from technical sponsor Nike.
The Boca Juniors 2019 Nike third jersey uses the yellow of the club’s famous home shirt as its inspiration. The color is amplifued to reflect the passion of the team’s fan and the vibrance of the La Boca barrio of Buenos Aires that the club calls home.
The kit uses Nike’s Vapor Match design that the American firm has assigned to all of its major federations and clubs since last spring. One bespoke element to the Boca Juniors 2019 third jersey is a tonal grid pattern on its front not seen in any of Nike’s other 2018/19 shirts. Another is Boca’s initials of “CABJ” printed in dark blue on the upper rear collar.
Club world champions on three occasions, Boca Juniors currently has former European-based Argentina internationals Carlos Tevez, Fernando Gago and Mauro Zárate on their books.
