Liga MX giants Club América have dropped a commemorative jersey from Nike celebrating the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia bound Mexico national soccer team.
The new Las Águilas (The Eagles) kit uses the same Aztec-inspired design as their 2017/18 Nike home shirt. Its colors are based on the famous green and red home kits of Mexico.
Three shades of green appear on the front and back of the kit. Red detailing is used at the collar, for side striping and on the v-shape made up of diamond on the front and back. White shorts with green stripes add the the Mexican football team vibe of the fourth Club América jersey released since last summer.
Club América wore their 2018 Nike commemorative shirt during Sunday’s 1-0 home win over Santos Laguna.
World Soccer Shop, Kitbag and UK Soccer Shop are all expected to carry the new kit.
