Bayer 04 Leverkusen 2017/18 Jako Home Kit

Popular German Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen are now in their second year of their deal with technical partner Jako. Back in training for their next campaign, Die Werkself (The Company XI) have been wearing their 2017/18 home kit in pre-season friendlies.

The Bayer Leverkusen 17/18 Jako home jersey (available soon at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag, Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop ) is mainly black with red details.

According to the club: Eleven red stripes on a black background run diagonally on left from the seam to the sleeves. That symbolizes the eleven players who will pull on the shirts looking for success with the Werkself .

Other highlights include a polo collar with red lining, the prized club badge on the chest and the ‘WERKSELF’ lettering on the neck line whose font, as well as the squad number and the player’s name, is derived from the historic Bayer logo. 

Bundesliga runner-ups of five occasions and UEFA Champions League finalists in 2002, Bayer Leverkusen finished the 2016/17 Bundesliga season in a disappointing twelfth place.
