Club captain Maurice Edu, Ilsinho and Josh Yaro unveiled the Philadelphia Union 2017 adidas away kit via a video in which Edu rapped Migos’ big hit “Bad and Boujee”.
Available soon at the World Soccer Shop, Kitbag and UK Soccer Shop Major League Soccer sections, the jersey is the first new alternate shirt for the Union since 2015. It is in the traditional away white of the team with dark blue side panels and sleeves. The kit uses a new adidas design featuring a dark blue crewneck collar with a V shape at its front. The gold of the Philadelphia Union crest is included on jersey via adidas shoulder stripes.
The Philadephia Union rattlesnake is printed on the jocktag area at the front lower left of the kit. The Latin phrase “Jungite aut Perite” is printed on the signoff area of the jersey.
US Open Cup runners-ups in 2014 and 2015, the Philadelphia Union open their 2017 MLS season at Vancouver Whitecaps on March 15th.
