Werder Bremen 2016 Nike Christmas Jersey

Five-time German Bundesliga champions SV Werder Bremen wore the 2016 edition of their Christmas kit during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with 1. FC Köln.

The latest Die Grün-Weißen (The Green-Whites) seasonal shirt is an updated version of their 2016/17 Nike third or “event” jersey. It is identical to the usual change kit except that the diamond that outlines the Werder Bremen badge replaced by a Christmas tree. The golden text “2016” has also been added beneath the crest.

The use of the Werder Bremen 2016 Christmas kit appears to be a one-time occasion given that the club returned to their normal third uniform for Wednesday’s match with Hoffenheim.
