Werder Bremen 2016/17 Nike Home, Away and Third Kits

SV Werder Bremen’s 2016/17 Nike kit collection sees the four-time German Bundesliga champions in hooped home and purple away kits for the first time in recent memory. A mainly white third kit completes a well-received match range for Die Grün-Weißen (The Green-Whites).

Werder Bremen’s 16/17 home and away jerseys uses Nike’s now ubiquitous AeroSwtift design. They both have rounded necklines with a strip of orange on their back collars. Contrasting stripes that expand to provide additional ventilation when players are in motion run down their sides. The stripes on the home shirt have a gradient effect that lightens towards their middle areas.

The Werder Bremen 2016/17 Nike third kit is also called the club’s “Event Jersey”. It is in the white with green detailing that Bremen has often used for their alternate shirts. The v-neck jersey has “Lebenslang grün-weiß” (Ligelog green and white) printed in gray on its front right.

Thirteenth placed finishers in the German Bundesliga last season, Werder Bremen open their 2016/17 season at defending champions FC Bayern Munich on August 26.
