Brisbane Roar FC 2016/17 Umbro Home, Away and Third Kits

Brisbane Roar Football Club have released a three match kit collection from Umbro Australia for their 2016/17 A-League, FFA Cup and AFC Champions League seasons.

The Roar’s new home and away jerseys use a bespoke design from Umbro featuring ribbed collar that end with flat area on the chest. The look is reminiscent of the now well-known West Ham United 16/17 home kit. The primary shirt is in Brisbane’s traditional orange with black details while the alternate kit is white with orange accenting.

The Brisbane Roar 2016/16 third kit celebrates the state of Queensland thorough the use of its official color – maroon. The relatively simple v-neck jersey is has white flashes on its sleeve cuffs to match its commercial logos and tonal Roar crest.

All three of the Brisbane Roar 16/17 Umbro kits have the co-ordinates of the club’s Suncorp Stadium printed on their inside neckline. A sound wave of crowd’s cheer when Erik Paartalu completed the Roar’s comeback to force a penalty shootout in the 2011 Hyundai A-League Grand Final is printed on the outside upper back of the shirts. The Roar went on the win their first A-League title in the penalty contest.
