AS Roma 2016/17 Nike Away Kit

AS Roma today revealed their Nike away kit for their 2016/17 Italian Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League seasons. The well-received jersey will be on sale at the World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, UK Soccer Shop and Kitbag ASR stores along with the team’s new home shirt.

Celebrating the 90th Anniversary, the Giallorossi enter the 2016/17 season with a new marble white away kit featuring the return of the city’s revered Roman symbol, the wolf (or “Lupetto”), on a red and yellow circular crest in place of the AS Roma club crest. The shirt’s color pays homage to the city’s historic architecture and, as a further ode to club pride, the modern crewneck collar incorporates a red band with “AS Roma” knitted on the back.

The sides of the kit have burnt red stripes that run the length of the shirt and shorts. Expanding when the player is in motion, it maximizes ventilation and reveals a subtle underlying yellow flash. Marble white socks, with a red linear graphic on the calf, accentuate speed complete the popular team’s new alternate look.
