Nike today presented the FC Internazionale Milano 2016/17 home and away kits ahead of the Italian Serie A club’s first pre-season training session in Brunico.
Inter’s 16/17 home kit updates the club’s iconic blue and and black stripes with yellow detailing and a tonal linear graphic. The sleeves and shoulders contrast in black. As an ode to club pride, the modern crew-neck collar features ‘INTER’ printed on its outside back area. The new Nerazzurri (The Black and Blues) primary jersey is matched with Inter Milan’s traditional black shorts and yellow socks for the first time in recent memory.
The Inter Milan 2016/17 Nike away shirt remains white but sees the traditional alternate kit horizontal blue and black chest band move to the shirt sleeves.
As is the case with the new home kit, “INTER” is printed on the outside of the rear collar. The sides of the kit have a black stripe that runs the length of the shirt and shorts. Expanding when the player is in motion, the stripe maximizes ventilation and reveals a subtle underlying blue. Blue socks, with a black linear graphic on the calf, showcase the club’s primary color and accentuate speed.
The player name and numbering on the the Inter Milan 16/17 home kit are in the yellow that accents the shirt. They are in the blue detailing of the away jersey on the change shirt.
Inter will debut their 2016/17 Nike home and away kits during summer friendlies with FC Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Celtic FC. Both will be available at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag, UK Soccer Shop and Subside Sports.
