Federación Peruana de Fútbol and Umbro have unveiled a limited edition home jersey to be worn by Peru at the 2016 Copa América Centenario in the USA. It will be on sale at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop in the lead up the the centennial South American football championship.
The Peru Umbro 2016 Copa América Centenario is in the customary primary white of third placed finishers at the last two Copa Americas. The famous red sash of La Blanquirroja
(The White and Red) is has a considerably smaller width than usual for the new kit. It is meant to emulate the sash worn by Peru when they won the 1939 Campeonato Sudamericano (the previous name of the Copa America).
The bespoke football shirt design from Umbro Peru also has red flashes at the front of the collar and on the inside sleeve cuffs. The FPF badge on the kit is bordered in gold for a finishing touch the the new jersey.
Peru will debut their Copa América Centenario home kit in a friendly with Trinidad and Tobago on May 23.
