New York Red Bulls 2016 adidas Away Jersey

Last year’s MLS Supporters’ Shield (regular season table toppers) winners New York Red Bulls today revealed their 2016 adidas away jersey.

The last professional club of French legend Thierry Henry will wear a dark blue alternate shirt with yellow detailing for the upcoming Major league Soccer and US Open Cup seasons. The Red Bulls 2016 home kit will remain the same as last year. Both will be on sale at  World Soccer Shop and Kitbag.

According to the club: The New York Red Bulls 2016 secondary kit features the Red Bulls’ signature blue and yellow road colors in a revamped design that mirrors the club’s current primary kit.

In addition to the bold yellow shoulders, the jersey features a sleek pinstripe design and heat-transferred team crest and adidas logo. The jersey also features adidas’ signature stripes down the sides, instead of on the shoulders, for a sleek, modern look.

The jersey also proudly displays “New York” on the outside of the collar, and “Established 1996” inside the collar in the franchise’s original red and black color scheme. “Love, Fight, Passion, Glory” is displayed on the neck tape just beneath.

An all-red, MetroStars-inspired crest behind the New York Red Bulls patch serves as a reminder that New York is Red, and keeps the city close to fans and players’ hearts.

Among MLS’ best-supported teams, New York Red Bulls currently feature former Premier League players Shaun Wright-Phillips and Bradley Wright-Phillips.
