The Georgia national rugby union team meet Argentina in the second match of their Rugby World Cup 2015 run on Friday. The “Lelos” will to build upon last week’s defeat of Tonga as they eye their first RWC quarter-final appearance.
Ranked thirteenth in the world by the International Rugby Board, Georgia is one of three teams wearing Under Armour kits at this year’s world championship (Canada and Wales are the other two). The Georgia 2015 Rugby World Cup home jersey is in their customary black with red accenting. The alternate shirt is red with white contrasting for a look that uses only the colors of the Georgian national flag.
The Georgian Rugby Union (GRU) crest and Rugby World Cup logo are embroidered on the chests of both jerseys. The crest design is also used for a ball gripping texture on the front of the shirts. The Georgia national flag is stitched onto their left sleeves.
