Italy Rugby World Cup 2023 Macron Kits

Italy is sporting eye-catching home and away uniforms designed by Macron, their technical partner since 2017, for the Rugby World Cup 2023 in France. These fresh Gli Azzurri (The Blues) kits have been meticulously crafted to encapsulate the essence and fierce determination of the Italian team.

In addition to embodying the symbols, traditions, spirit, and values of rugby, these jerseys carry a powerful message of sustainability and environmental respect. They are fashioned from Eco Fabric, a polyester material derived entirely from recycled plastic, where approximately 13 half-liter plastic bottles are repurposed for each shirt.

The Italian Macron home jersey for the Rugby World Cup 2023 boasts a light blue hue, a two-button polo shirt collar, a slender white stripe, and white sleeve cuffs. The inside backneck bears the ‘ITALIA’ imprint subtly in the background, with the Italian Rugby Federation logo, the Macron emblem, and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’ in the foreground. 

This underscores the fact that each garment is conceived, designed, and manufactured at Macron’s headquarters. On the chest, the Rugby World Cup 2023 logo, the Macron Hero, and the Italian Rugby Federation (Federazione Italiana Rugby) crest, are all skillfully embroidered. The prominent graphic element on the jersey’s front replicates the stylized laurel wreath found in the FIR crest, presented in a tone-on-tone dye-sub print. The back of the shirt features an embossed print of the Capitoline Wolf. Completing the home kit are white shorts and light blue socks.

The Italy Rugby World Cup 2023 away shirt version is pristine white with subtle light blue accents beneath the polo neck collar and on the sleeve cuffs. It echoes the graphic design of the home kit, featuring a personalized back neck, a tone-on-tone stylized laurel wreath across the entire front, and an embossed Capitoline Wolf design on the lower back of the jersey. 

The right breast displays the RWC 2023 logo, the Macron Hero graces the center, and the FIR crest adorns the left. Light blue shorts and white socks complete the away kit. 

Both jerseys offer a Muscle Fit and are constructed from Eco-Armevo fabric with Eco-Boditex inserts, ensuring not only lightweight breathability but also exceptional durability.
