Mexico 2015 Women’s World Cup adidas Home Jersey

adidas and La Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF)  today introduced the Mexico women’s soccer team 2015/16 home jersey. The new shirt will be the first choice kit of “la Selección Femenil Mexicana” at this summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015. It will be on sale at World Soccer Shop along with the recently released Mexico 2015/16 adidas home and away jerseys.

The launch of the shirt is a first in that no FMF technical sponsor has ever produced a women’s national team specific kit to date. adidas is one of the first firms to have done so for its sponsored federation’s and has provided women’s team kits for Germany and Sweden in recent times.

The Mexico 2015 Women’s World Cup adidas home kit uses a base in a bright hue of the traditional green of El Tri. A series of dark green horizontal lines appear on its front while white adidas stripes appear on the sleeves. The collar of the jersey is a unique combination of a crew neck and a v-neck. A white mesh effect appears above the sleeve cuffs and waistline.

The Mexico women’s team will debut their 15/16 home uniform during a March 4th friendly against South Africa. The team is pooled with Colombia, England and France in Group F of the World Cup.
