The Gabon men’s national football team debuted their 2014/15 PUMA home kit during the latter part of their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
The yellow and blue shirt will be seen in action by fans around the world when Les Pantheres (The Panthers) meet hosts Equatorial Guinea, Burkina Faso and Congo in the group stage of AFCON 2015.
The Gabon 14/15 PUMA home jersey uses a shirt design that the German firm has given to all of its African teams including 2014 World Cup qualifiers Ghana and Cameroon. The localized feature of the shirt is a subtle West African flavored print on its sleeves and collar area.
With a host of French Ligue 1 players on its roster, Gabon is currently ranked 64th in the world by FIFA. The team made it to the quarter-finals of the 1996 and 2012 editions of the Africa Cup of nations.
