Sunderland AFC donned a one-off 2014/15 third kit from adidas during Monday evening’s much needed Premier League win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in London.
The all white strip was furnished to The Black Cats by adidas because their 14/15 home and away kits were both deemed to clash with Palace’s current home kit.
The shirt uses the adidas Tiro 13 template that has been in circulation since the summer of last year. Thanks to the including of blue accents, the alternate kit is nearly identical to the Faroe Islands 2014/15 home jersey.
Sunderland’s new third kit will not be put on sale by the club. Their home and away kits are available at World Soccer Shop, UK Soccer Shop, Subside Sports and Kitbag.
