adidas Golden Ball, Golden Boot and Golden Glove Trophies for the 2014 FIFA World Cup

adidas has unveiled the Golden Ball, Golden Boot and Golden Glove trophies that will be awarded at the end of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.

The Golden Ball is given to the player voted the best in the competition while the Golden Glove goes to the the goalkeeper selected as the World Cup’s best. Statistics determine the winner of the Golden Boot since it is awarded to the competition’s leading goalscorer.

Past winner of the trophies include football legends such as Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo (of Brazil), Oliver Kahn, Dino Zoff and Mario Kempes.

FIFA also hands out a Best young Player prize to players 21 and under along with a Fair Play Trophy.
