Mizuno USA, a global leader in the sporting goods industry, has released two new colorways for the Morelia Neo, a speed cleat, and Wave Ignitus 3, a power cleat, ahead of the biggest global soccer event.

The Morelia Neo features a Dazzling Blue and Bolt color combination, inspired by the colors of the Brazilian national flag. The new Wave Ignitus 3 colorway features a purple and lime scheme reminiscent of the “Morph,” a butterfly indigenous to South America. Ideal for players looking to improve their game, both cleats feature Mizuno’s well-known standard of innovative design, premium craftsmanship and superior performance.

“Brazil is considered one of the true global hubs for soccer,” said Ahmet Abaci, Mizuno VP of Brand Marketing and Management. “With some of the best soccer play about to take place in Sao Paolo, we wanted to pay homage to this global event and Brazil with unique colorways inspired by its vivid culture and rich heritage.”

Meticulously crafted for a glove-like fit, the 6.3-ounce Morelia Neo speed cleat provides players with excellent foot holding, touch on the ball, and comfort to increase speed and agility. The dual density outsole technology provides for a stable and rigid feel. The Wave Ignitus 3 power cleat is built to maximize the kicking motion and was developed with specially designed panels that help players drive, curl and strike with precision.

The new soccer cleats will be in play during the tournament by notable global players, including the “Hulk” (Givanildo Vieira de Souza) of Brazil and “Honda” (Keisuke Honda) of Japan and seven players on the Korea Republic (South Korean) national team.
