Set for a top ten finish in the current Ligue 1 season, Girondins de Bordeaux released their 2014/15 PUMA home kit on Tuesday at the Domaine de Chevalier chateau. It will be available at Kitbag, Subside Sports, UK Soccer Shop and World Soccer Shop.
The new strip will be worn for the first time in match action during FCGB’s meeting with Olympique Marseille at the Stade Chaban Delmas on Saturday.
Modeled by current players Marc Planus, Jussiê, Lucas Orban, Diego Rolan, Grégory Sertic and Henri Saivet, the Bordeaux 14/15 home kit uses the new PUMA new slim-fitting, polo collared jersey design that was first seen via the Italy 2014 World Cup home shirt.
In a nod to Bordeaux’s winemaking tradition, the new Girondin’s kit includes small images of grape bunches throughout its front. PUMA’s PWR ACTV compression and athletic tape technology will be present on all player issued versions of the jersey.
