French Ligue 1 Unveils Updated adidas 2013/14 Official Matchball

The  Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) has unveiled an updated version of its adidas 2013/14 official matchball that will be used for the remainder of the French Ligue 1 season.

The ball uses the same design as the Ligue 1 13/14 ball unveiled this past summer. Its base color has been changed from white to orange to improve visibility in winter conditions. The LFP states that the new ball signifies Ligue 1′s passage into a new era with the modernisation of its major stadiums in preparation for Euro 2016. This is highlighted by a modern stadium inspired graphic printed on the face of the ball.
