Newell’s Old Boys 110th Anniversary Topper Jersey

Last season’s Argentine Primera División champions Newell’s Old Boys have launched a special edition 110th Anniversary jersey from kit provider Topper. The shirt is the first released by the club since March of 2012.

The red and black hooped Newell’s 11oth Anniversary shirt features a commemorative badge on its right breast area. The current club crest in on the left atop seven silver star that represent La Lepra’s (“The Leprosy”) seven championships.

The new NOB kit will be worn for the first time in match action on November 11th against River Plate at the  Estadio Marcelo Bielsa in Round 11 of the Torneo Inicial 2013.

Currently in first place in the Primera table, Newell’s Old Boys celebrate their 110th Anniversary on November 3rd. The club currently features well-known veteran internationals Maxi Rodríguez, David Trezeguet and Gabriel Heinze.
