Notts County Football Club have unveiled their Fila 2013/14 home kit for the upcoming English Football League One and cup seasons.
It will be worn for the first time in match against against Spain’s Rayo Vallecano in a pre-season friendly at Meadow Lane on Tuesday and will be available at JD Sports.
According to the Notts County FC website: An iconic design, created with supporters’ input, the strip is based on the unforgettable 1993.94 barcode kit that holds some fantastic memories, most notably Charlie Palmer’s last-gasp winner against local rivals Nottingham Forest at Meadow Lane.
Adding a classic touch, the club has opted to return to a black shorts and white socks combination, which was used consistently during the 1950s through to the late 1980s.
There is also a gold star situated above the badge that represents the Magpies’ 1894 FA Cup win.
