Australia Wallabies 2013 KooGa Home Rugby Jersey

The Australia Wallabies 2013 home rugby jersey from technical sponsor KooGa has been officially released. It will be available at World Rugby Shop,  Kitbag Rugby and Lovell Rugby.

According to the Australian Rugby Union: The Qantas Wallabies and official apparel partner KooGa have unveiled a new jersey ahead of the highly anticipated British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia.

The new Qantas Wallabies exo-tek jersey is 25 per cent lighter than the previous jersey whilst at the same time maintaining the same strength and durability.

While the jersey is still predominantly the Gold there is a slight hint of green across the left shoulder while the coat of arms will appear as a ‘badge’ on the left breast rather than embroidered on to the jersey.

Featuring natural stretch and recovery, the jersey also has new innovations including moisture wicking properties to take the sweat away from the body and cool the skin, a new silicone gel logo application and the inclusion of four different fabrics in its body mapped panelling design.

The players shorts have also been ‘updated’ with a more durable poly twill fabric utilising Titanium 2 (T2) technology while KooGa also reinforced the triple stitching to safeguard against any tearing.

Other features include a gripper to enhance the lineout lifters grip, lycra in the crutch for ease of movement and a chamois panel which has been worked into the design for players to dry their hands.
