Olympique Marseille 2012/13 adidas Collector’s Jersey

2011/12 French Coupe de la Ligue winners Olympique Marseille released their 12/13 home, away and third over the summer months. Now the nine-time Ligue 1 and 1993 European champions have launched a special edition adidas 2012/13 collector’s jersey meant to raise cancer awareness. The new kit will be worn by OM for certain Ligue 1 and Coupe de La Ligue matches during the 2012/13 season.

Breast cancer awareness ambassadors Vanessa Demouy, Coralie Balmy, Nadiya and Diane Robert will host a launch event for the kit ahead of  Sunday’s match against Olympique Lyonnais at the Stade Vélodrome.

The Olympique Marseille 2012/13 Collector’s jersey uses a different adidas design from the club’s other three kits for the ongoing season. It includes prominent pink accents in recognition of the fight against breast cancer. Black is used as the predominant color of the shirt to ensure that the pink accents stand out.

The logo of la Ligue nationale contre le cancer is included in the center breast area of the jersey along with the well-known pink breast cancer awareness ribbon.
