Video: Liverpool 2 – Manchester City 2 (Carling Cup Semi-Final Highlights)

Liverpool will meeting Cardiff City in the final of the 2012 Carling Cup after tying Manchester City 2-2 at Anfield on Wednesday night. The result sees Kenny Dalglish’s team win the home and away series 3-2 on aggregate.

Nigel de Jong put City 1-0 up in the 34th with a long-range effort before Steven Gerrard’s spot kick tied the match in the 41st. The English Premier League leaders went ahead 2-1 on an Edin Dzeko goal in the 67th until Craig Bellamy sealed the series win by slotting in Glen Johnson’s one touch pass in the 74th.
