Manchester City crushed Liverpool 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday to go three points clear of second placed Manchester United at the top of the English Premier League table.
Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure gave City a 2-0 lead in the first half as the Citizens looked to bounce back from Sunday’s last minute loss at Sunderland. James Milner added a third goal from the penalty spot in the 75th to put the result beyond doubt. The win was the club’s tenth consecutive at home this season.
