Derby County adidas 2011/12 Away Kit

One-time English Premier League and now English Football League Championship regulars Derby County Football Club have unveiled their away outfield player and goalkeeper kits for the 2011/12 season. Their launch follow that of the Derby County 11/12 home kit in early June.

Speaking about the away kit, Derby County’s Head of Retail Mandy Hollis explained: “adidas presented us with various options, but the purple choice stood out from the beginning.

“Nigel Clough thought the colour was really striking and it would be one that fans would really like.

“We made the decision to use the same hoop design that is present in the home kit design to keep some consistency with both kits and I am confident the choice of purple will be a big hit with our supporters.”
