Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama, usually known as Vasco da Gama or simply Vasco, is a popular Brazilian multisports club from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil that was founded on August 21, 1898.

Vasco is best known for its soccer team which now campaigns in the Brazilian Série A after being promoted from Série B at the end of the 2009/10 season. The four-time Série A champions and 1998 Copa Libertadores winners finished last season’s campaign in 11th place.

On Monday, the Vasco da Gama Penalty 2011 home and away jerseys were unveiled. Their release brings Vasco’s 2011 kits to three following the March launch of the club’s anti-racism inspired third kit. All feature the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol or CBF badge on their chest in recognition of Vasco da Gama’s 2011 Copa do Brasil title.

The kit launch featured a train (Trem-Bala da Colina) decorated in Vasco da Gama’s colors and logos, twin soccer babes Bia and Branca and several of the team’s first team players.
