The new home jersey of popular Major League Soccer franchise Toronto FC has been launched on adidas’ website. The new TFC kit comes in authentic and replica versions with the player-issue shirt featuring the outline of Canada’s national symbol, the Maple Leaf, on its chest along with a Canadian flag on its left sleeve. It may be worn for Toronto’s friendly with Red Star Belgrade in Turkey on Sunday.
Though among the best-supported MLS teams, Toronto FC has failed to make the league’s post-season playoff for all four years of its existence. The club recently hired former Germany coach Jürgen Klinsmann as a consultant and Dutch legend Aron Winter as its manager.
