World Cup 2010 second rounders Chile have unveiled their new PUMA home kit (available at World Soccer Shop in January 2011). The new strip was used for tonight’s 2-0 home friendly win over Uruguay in Santiago.
While it hasn’t been said for how long the new Chile kit will be used, this should be the Chile 2010/11 PUMA home strip due to the fact that the 2011 Copa America tournament takes place next July. It is expected that most, if not all, of the teams participating in South America’s championship will launch new kits for the occasion.
La Federación de Fútbol de Chile (The Chile Football Federation) recently signed a kit deal with PUMA that will see La Roja wearing gear from the German company through 2015. Chile had worn Brooks kits for the last few years including at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
