Coritiba Foot Ball Club, commonly known as Coritiba, is a Brazilian football team from Curitiba, Paraná. It was founded in 1909 by several youngsters from the German community of the town.
Coritiba currently campaigns in the second tier of Brazilian football – the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B – following their relegation from Série A at the end of the 2009 season. Their sole Série A league title came in 1985. The club currently sits in first place in Série B with 43 points from 23 matches.
Last Saturday, Coritiba Foot Ball Club and Lotto presented the club’s 2010 third kit before their 2-0 league win against Portuguesa. The Lotto shirt design template used for the kit has been around since last year and was used for Fiorentina’s 09/10 kits amongst others.
