Today, Hearts FC unveiled their brand new Umbro 2010/11 home and away kits. According to their website:

The new home shirt is a modern twist on a kit which supporters have requested for some years.

It’s “Ajax” style is hugely reminiscent of that worn by boss Jim Jefferies in the 1970s.

But perhaps one of its most iconic moments came on 2nd December 1972 at Ibrox Park.

With the score tied at 0-0 Tommy Murray sat on the ball in a moment of sparkling impudence after speeding down the left wing. He paused for effect, passed the ball to Jim Brown, and he crossed it for Donald Ford to score.

Tommy Murray sits on the ball, then passes to Jim Brown who crosses it for Donald Ford to score at Ibrox in a 1-0 win (2nd December 1972)It was the only goal of a stunning 1-0 win in Glasgow, and is long remembered by supporters from that era.Hearts FC Umbro 2010/11 Home and Away Kits

The away kit is a sparking sky blue striped shirt, not dissimilar to a certain international team from South America. The colour shows up the Hearts badge brilliantly and is sure to be another major hit.
