Aston Villa have released their 2026/27 adidas away and third kits. The away shirt is built around a mainly black design, while the third shirt uses a light blue base. Both are part of the club’s kit set for a season that includes the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and UEFA Champions League, the last of which Aston Villa qualified for after winning the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League.

The Aston Villa 2026/27 adidas away shirt is finished in black with a gas lamp motif worked into the fabric, a reference to the lamps positioned around Villa Park. The pattern sits within the material itself rather than standing out from a distance. adidas Originals’ trefoil logo appears on the chest in gold, and the brand’s three stripes across the shoulders are also rendered in gold.
The club crest has been adjusted, showing only the lion emblem and star, without the shield and surrounding elements that usually frame them. The shirt has a v-neck collar trimmed in claret, light blue and gold, matching detailing on the cuffs, and a “Climacool” tag printed near the hem.

Aston Villa’s third shirt takes a different approach, combining a light blue base with claret trim on the collar, cuffs and shoulder stripes. Its design draws on the Holte End, the stand at Villa Park, with mosaic patterns based on the stand embossed across the body of the shirt. An illustration of the Holte End appears on the back of the neck. The shirt has already had its first outing on the pitch: Aston Villa wore it for their UEFA Super Cup match against Paris Saint-Germain in Salzburg on 12 August 2026, a game PSG won 2-1.

The two releases also carry different adidas branding. The away shirt sits under the adidas Originals label and uses its trefoil logo, while the third shirt carries adidas’ standard three-stripe mark instead.
