Nottingham Forest has released its 2026/27 away and third kits from adidas, giving the club two new strips to wear across the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and UEFA Europa League this season. The new jersey drops follow the club’s home release and rounds out the alternate shirts for the year ahead.

The 2026/27 away kit marks the return of the adidas trefoil to Nottingham Forest’s kit range, with a collegiate green colorway chosen as a nod to the club’s own name. The shirt carries an all-over printed graphic alongside an embroidered trefoil logo and adidas’ three stripes, while collar and cuff piping brings a tailored, structured detail to the design rather than a plain crew neck finish.

Collegiate green shorts and socks complete the set which will be worn by Forest’s men’s, women’s and academy teams throughout the 2026/27 campaign.

The Nottingham Forest 2026/27 adidas third shirt takes a different approach, drawing its inspiration from the River Trent, which runs alongside Forest’s City Ground home. Its light blue base is layered with flowing white detailing designed to represent the ripple of the river and the rising sun catching its surface.

Dark blue shorts and socks are the standard pairing, though white shorts and socks may also be worn with the kit depending on fixture. As with the away strip, the third kit will be worn by the men’s first team, women’s first team and academy sides across the season.

Between the Nottingham Forest 26/27 away and third kit releases, the new range spans a heritage-driven green away shirt and a third jersey built around the club’s riverside setting at the City Ground. adidas has used colorway, print work and finishing details like the piping to differentiate the two designs, rather than leaning on bold graphics, which keeps both shirts practical as everyday wear as well as matchday kits.
It is a design pairing that reflects two different sides of the club’s identity: one looking back to the meaning behind its name, the other looking out at the landscape around its home ground.
