La Federación Colombiana de Futbol and adidas have revealed the Colombia home jersey for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, featuring a design centered on yellow butterflies inspired by the country’s magical realism literary tradition. 

The Colombia World Cup 2026 adidas home kit marks a departure from conventional uniform aesthetics by incorporating cultural symbolism into its technical sports design.

The jersey’s primary feature consists of a subtle butterfly wing pattern integrated throughout the yellow fabric. This texture creates a dimensional effect that shifts with light and movement, referencing Colombia’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage.

The butterflies appear in tonal variations of the same yellow base, creating visual depth without overwhelming the traditional color scheme that has defined Los Cafeteros’ identity for decades.

adidas maintained the Colombian national team’s iconic bright yellow while adding navy blue and red accents on the collar and sleeves, reflecting the Colombian flag’s tricolor. The federation’s crest occupies its standard chest position, with adidas’s three stripes running along the shoulders. On the upper back, “COLOMBIA” appears in capital letters, a design element intended to emphasize national representation during international competition.

Los Cafeteros will debut the Colombia World Cup 2026 adidas home kit during their November international friendly against Australia, another nation that qualified for the FIFA World Cup.
